Current Accounts
- Current accounts can be opened in major foreign currencies by individuals either singly or in joint names/Partnership concerns/Limited Companies/Societies/Proprietorship concerns with proper introduction
- Documents required for Companies
-- Photocopies of Passport/ HKID card of Directors
-- Memorandum and Articles of Association
-- Certificate of Incorporation and Business Registration Certificate
-- Resolution for Opening and Operating the account
- Documents required for Partnership concerns
-- Photocopies of Passport/ HKID card of partners
-- Copy of Partnership agreement
-- Certificate of Incorporation and Business Registration Certificate
- For others photocopies of Passport / HKID card to be submitted
- Original documents to be produced for verification
- Cheques collection facility available for Current account holders
- Minimum Deposit required is HKD 10000 for HKD Current accounts and USD 2000 for USD Current accounts
- Bank reserves the right to close the account and refund the balance after deduction of service charges if the minimum balance is not maintained
- Please advise change of address promptly
- Notification to customers will be by post and the last known address as per our records will be deemed to be the actual address
- Accounts not operated for six months will be transferred to Inoperative accounts and will be subject to service charges
- Bank reserves the right to recover the or adjust any incorrect entry to the account
- Statement of Accounts will be sent to customers once a month
- Customers are requested to check all entries in Statement of Accounts and the entries will be deemed to be correct if not notified within 14 days
- USD currency deposits in USD Current accounts will be subjected to levy of 0.50% commission
