A Demand Draft is a cheaper alternative to Telegraphic Transfer. It is a Cheque issued by our bank drawn on our branches in India favoring the specified beneficiary . You can forward the Demand Draft to the beneficiary or we can help you send it at no extra cost (i.e. Mail Transfer – applicable only where beneficiary maintains account with our Branch in India. )The time will vary depending on the destination and postal delivery schedules.)
Overseas cheques are forwarded to foreign banks through our correspondents for the collection of proceeds. The time of collection would vary depending on the currency, location of the paying bank and banks involved.
